About the Role

Programmed Facility Management is inviting applications for an experienced Maintenance General Trade professional to join the Port Hedland team in the Pilbara region. This role involves providing crucial maintenance services to more than 18,000 public housing homes across the Department of Communities, including remote Aboriginal communities throughout Western Australia.

Primary Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Branch Supervisor, the successful candidate will perform general and reactive maintenance tasks efficiently on Programmed Facility Management contracts.

Desired Experience

  • Proficiency in wall and floor tiling including waterproofing techniques
  • Experience in general tiling maintenance
  • Painting skills
  • Bathroom refurbishment expertise
  • Capability to handle general handyman duties

Candidates should have proven experience in maintenance within domestic or commercial settings. Attention to detail and dedication to delivering uncompromising quality services are essential. Mandatory Qualifications & Conditions

  • Construction White Card
  • Demonstrated tiling, painting, and handyman experience
  • Valid C-class driver's license
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Successful completion of comprehensive pre-employment medical exams including instant drug and alcohol testing
  • Recent satisfactory national police check (within last 6 months)
  • Trade-related competencies
