Role Overview
Star Group is seeking a Multi-Site Business Leader for its Waikato network in Hamilton, New Zealand. This role is suited to a confident leader who enjoys developing people, lifting performance, and bringing positive energy across several venues. You should be able to build strong teams, guide them toward results, and consistently deliver a great guest experience while keeping commercial outcomes in focus.
What the Role Involves
In this position, you will oversee operations across multiple sites and balance people leadership, day-to-day execution, and financial performance. The role calls for someone who can work well in busy, high-volume settings, set the standard through their own example, and use business insights to improve results. A solid understanding of profit and loss reporting is important, along with the ability to turn numbers into practical action.
What You Need to Bring
- At least 2 years of experience as a General Manager in high-volume venues.
- A genuine drive to create memorable guest experiences.
- The confidence to motivate, guide, and lead a lively team.
- Strong attention to detail paired with comfort working with numbers.
- Experience in large, multi-layered, or operationally complex environments.
