Role Overview
As the Multi-Site Apartment Property Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day operations across multiple properties with roughly 300 units in total. This is a hands-on leadership role centered on operational oversight, resident relations, financial discipline, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations for a portfolio of several communities totaling around 300 units.
- Guide, coach, train, and evaluate onsite staff to support performance and growth.
- Track and communicate key metrics such as budget performance, occupancy, leasing results, and overall financial status.
- Handle rent collection, follow up on delinquent accounts, and keep operating costs under control.
- Address resident complaints, disturbances, and policy breaches in a professional and fair manner.
- Support leasing success through effective marketing and sales efforts.
- Perform recurring site inspections, including vacated homes and common-area walkthroughs.
- Maintain accurate records, follow company procedures, and stay highly organized.
- Protect service standards and promote a positive resident experience throughout the community.
Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of prior apartment management experience, including direct supervision of onsite personnel.
- A steady employment record is preferred.
- Background managing conventional apartment communities in the 600 to 1,000 unit range.
- Demonstrated strength in leadership, coaching, and performance management.
- Proven ability in sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is an advantage, though not mandatory.
