Employment Conditions

Any offer of employment depends on authorization to work in the United States. The employer notes that recent federal changes may raise the cost of H-1B visa filings, and while it remains supportive of international faculty hires, it cannot promise payment of any new or increased visa-related fees due to budget limitations and state funding rules. Questions about visa policy may be directed to Monica Arrendale at (706) 867-4470.

Employment is also subject to a background investigation, including a criminal background check, verification of qualifications and work history, and, if applicable, a satisfactory credit check. Candidates may also be asked to complete a pre-employment drug screen.

Other Information

  • This role is not supervisory.
  • There are no financial duties attached to this position.
  • Driving is part of the job.
  • The position is classified as one of trust.
  • A purchasing card is not required.
  • Travel may account for approximately 1% to 24% of work time.
  • Security clearance is not required.
  • The employer may remove the posting without notice before the listed expiration date.
