Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Identify and fix issues in mould mechanisms such as sliders, lifters, core and cavity inserts, and ejector systems.
• Address mechanical problems including faults, blockages in water cooling lines, troubles with hot runner systems, and misalignment issues.
• Carry out regular preventive maintenance tasks like cleaning, polishing, lubricating mould parts, inspecting gas vents, and ensuring safety protocols.
• Utilize precision measurement tools to verify tolerances and document all repairs and alterations performed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must possess an ITI certification or its equivalent; diplomas are not acceptable for this position.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in mould maintenance.
• Strong expertise required in mould assembly/disassembly, bench work including scraping, filing, and polishing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience troubleshooting both hot and cold runner systems.
• Proficient in operating various tool-room hand tools.
