Role Overview
We are looking for a Production Supervisor to manage daily sheet metal manufacturing activities at our Jigani Industrial Area facility in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This position involves ensuring that production aligns with approved plans, engineering drawings, and BOMs, while upholding quality standards, safety protocols, productivity targets, and shop floor discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and verify drawings against Bills of Materials.
- Execute production processes according to established plans.
- Monitor production status in line with the Production Plan.
- Enforce safety guidelines and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) and safety practices in the machine shop.
- Utilize TPP programming skills.
- Operate and oversee bending, shearing, and laser cutting machines.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of Job Cards.
- Supervise and manage manpower efficiently.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in production supervision.
- Mandatory experience in the sheet metal industry.
