Role overview
Halfords is hiring a qualified MOT Tester to join its Garage Services team at a new Fusion centre in Leicester Forest East. The site is being upgraded with modern facilities designed to improve customer service and create a strong working environment. This is a full-time role working five days per week.
Pay and earnings
The role offers on-target earnings of up to £42,070. This includes a base salary between £34,000 and £36,770, plus an uncapped monthly bonus plan that averages an additional £5,300 per year. A refer-a-friend reward scheme is also available, subject to terms and conditions.

Skills and experience
Applicants need a current MOT Testing Licence. Candidates who do not yet hold this licence may be considered for other mechanic or technician roles by contacting the team directly. A full driving licence is required, and it must have no more than 9 points. The role also calls for someone who is a team player and is happy to help with light vehicle maintenance in the workshop when not carrying out MOT tests.
