About the role
This opportunity is for a motivated Home Financing Advisor who can combine banking knowledge, client relationship management, and mortgage expertise to help customers secure the right home financing solutions. The position is commission-based and designed for someone who is driven by results, comfortable working independently, and energized by a mobile work style.
You will be joining a collaborative, inclusive, high-performance sales environment focused on delivering strong outcomes for clients and the business.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong connections with clients, referral partners, and community contacts to create new mortgage opportunities and referrals.
- Provide mortgage guidance that reflects each client’s financial goals, using sound banking knowledge and clear communication.
- Earn trust through transparent advice, consistent follow-up, and professional support throughout the mortgage journey.
- Deliver a smooth and personalized client experience from application through to funding.
- Work with internal partners, including underwriters, to support timely approvals and closings while meeting regulatory standards.
- Stay mobile and accessible so clients can be served in the way that best suits them.
- Keep up to date with market conditions, mortgage solutions, and industry rules to ensure advice remains accurate and competitive.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of demonstrated success in mortgages or a related field.
- A strong focus on relationship building, client care, and service quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
- An entrepreneurial approach and the motivation to succeed in a commission-only sales environment.
