Job description
About the Company
Knock is working to simplify the experience of buying and selling a home. Since launching in 2015, the company has grown into a trusted partner for thousands of homebuyers and a nationwide network of more than 60,000 loan officers and agents. Its bridge loan solution helps homeowners access equity in their current home so they can purchase their next home before selling the first one. The company is backed by well-known investors and has earned strong customer ratings, an A+ BBB rating, and multiple workplace recognitions.
Role Overview
Knock is hiring a Closer/Funder to support the final stage of residential loan transactions. This is a fast-moving role for someone who is highly organized, comfortable handling detailed work, and committed to delivering a smooth customer experience. The position is fully remote within the U.S., though a location is still listed for job board requirements.
What You’ll Do
You will manage the closing process for residential loans from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely funding. The role involves direct coordination with internal teams and settlement partners, as well as ownership of a high-volume pipeline.
- Prepare and issue accurate Initial Closing Disclosures to borrowers.
- Identify and resolve closing problems quickly while keeping the borrower experience positive.
- Release lender funds so transactions can close correctly and on schedule.
- Carefully review loan documents, including sales price, loan amount, vesting, and other critical details.
- Confirm that every file follows federal, state, and program requirements.
- Work closely with Loan Officers, Bridge Loan Specialists, Loan Assistants, and settlement teams.
- Review signed closing packages and verify their accuracy before funds are disbursed.
- Handle a pipeline of approximately 50–60 loans each month with strong attention to detail.
- Support teammates, share knowledge, and contribute as a mentor and collaborator.
- Take on special assignments and provide help wherever the team needs it.
