Job Overview
The MEAL Assistant position based at the Dahleh Office in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, Bavaria, focuses significantly on supporting monitoring and data collection specifically for protection and health projects in Al-Hasakeh governorate. This role is predominantly field-oriented, requiring about 90% travel within the Governorate to execute field activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the systematic collection and monitoring of data related to protection and health interventions.
- Work collaboratively with the protection team to design and implement joint surveys for project assessments and evaluations.
- Continuously update and monitor project indicators to evaluate progress and outcomes.
- Maintain and regularly update the complaints information management system, ensuring comprehensive tracking of issues and resolutions.
- Verify and update beneficiary counts and related programmatic data.
- Identify challenges in data and information flows within the Protection programme and MEL systems, proposing improvements.
- Conduct daily documentation of project activities and schedule regular field monitoring visits to protection centers, completing required monitoring checklists.
- Engage beneficiaries by collecting their feedback, explaining the Feedback and Complaint Response Mechanism (FCRM), and ensuring accessibility of FCRM tools.
- Be prepared to travel to various locations within the governorate for extended monitoring and field tasks as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager within the department's scope.

Required Qualifications and Skills
