The work spans molecular biology, biophysics, genomics, immunology, neuroscience, and closely related areas. It is structured as a W-2 position with payroll and compliance handled for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create and assess challenging research-grade questions and tasks used for model training and benchmarking.
- Review answers that involve predicting mechanisms, planning experiments, and interpreting scientific literature.
- Judge the quality of model reasoning across biological workflows and scientific decision-making.
- Spot subtle scientific mistakes and difficult edge cases that require expert-level domain insight.
- Work with a selective network of researchers and scientific contributors in a distributed setup.
- Support ongoing projects with no fixed end date, offering flexibility in how the work is scheduled.

Pay is set at $125 to $225 per hour, depending on research depth, publication record, and technical expertise. The commitment is flexible, at approximately 8 to 20 hours per week, with continuity available over time.
Requirements
- Ability to write and review advanced biology and biophysics tasks rooted in active research areas.
- Strong judgment in evaluating reasoning quality across experimental design, biological mechanisms, and scientific interpretation.
- Experience identifying nuanced failures and edge cases in complex scientific outputs.
- Comfort collaborating remotely with research teams and program stakeholders.
- A strong publication history in respected scientific or specialized journals.
- Advanced training in life sciences, STEM, or a closely related technical field.
- Background in academic, postdoctoral, faculty, or industry research, including patent, fellowship, or grant-related work.
Additional Information
This is a W-2 employment arrangement with payroll and compliance administered centrally. The work is part-time, remote, and ongoing, with no fixed end date. The role is intended for highly selective scientific contributors working on frontier research problems.
