Modern Workplace Consultant (Intermediate to Senior)

About Deptive and the Role

Deptive is a specialized Microsoft 365 partner serving prominent clients such as Oceania Healthcare, Stuff, Bayleys, and Southern Cross. We focus intensively on Microsoft 365 capabilities and deliver solutions that consistently impress clients. We are seeking an intermediate to senior consultant with established expertise in Microsoft 365, particularly in large environments, who has strong SharePoint skills and experience implementing Power Platform solutions. In this role, you will engage with diverse M365 transformation projects across New Zealand’s corporate and enterprise sectors, including projects around SharePoint, Power Platform, Copilot AI tools, automation, information management, security, and governance. You will collaborate with an AI-enabled, fast-paced consulting team that empowers innovative work approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to M365 transformation projects spanning SharePoint, Power Platform, and AI-powered tools.
• Design and implement robust solutions addressing clients’ information management, automation, and governance needs.
• Engage directly with clients in workshops and stakeholder discussions to capture requirements, manage expectations, and deliver value.
• Utilize AI-first approaches in solution design and client engagement, integrating cutting-edge technologies naturally into workflows.
• Be proactive and self-directed in managing tasks, ownership, and collaboration within the consulting practice.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience working with Microsoft 365 in large organizations or complex environments, ideally in consulting or professional services.
• Hands-on expertise with SharePoint, Microsoft Copilot, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Entra identity management.
• Strong client-facing communication abilities, able to lead workshops and engage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Confident in contributing innovative ideas, asking insightful questions, and challenging solutions constructively to optimize outcomes.
• Comfortable adopting an AI-first mindset to enhance service delivery and solution efficacy.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and ownership of responsibilities, knowing when to seek assistance.
• Bonus skills: familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, Purview, Dataverse, and data platforms like Fabric and Databricks is advantageous.
