About the Role

In this dynamic, client-facing position, you will be instrumental in driving business growth by building and managing relationships with clients and referring partners, including realtors, builders, and financial advisors. Key Responsibilities
- Actively develop new mortgage business through prospecting, networking, and nurturing referral relationships with professionals such as real estate agents and financial planners.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing expert advice and tailored mortgage solutions to meet client needs.
- Maintain a pipeline of leads and follow up consistently to convert prospects into satisfied TD clients.
- Utilize TD’s specialized sales management tools to track activity and ensure efficient sales operations.
- Stay informed about the latest mortgage products, market trends, and lending policies to offer reliable and accurate information to clients.
- Participate in targeted sales and credit training programs to continually develop your skills and integrate smoothly into the TD culture.
- Engage in regular coaching and performance check-ins with your Senior District Sales Manager, including joint sales calls and activity reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record in sales, ideally within financial services or mortgage lending.
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities with a focus on generating business from multiple sources.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service capabilities.
- Familiarity with retail banking and/or credit approval processes considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education is preferred.
