About the Role
Join a mission-driven team focused on national security as a Military Operations Planner. This role supports the European Command Sensitive Activities Division by integrating traditional Joint Planning Processes with Special Access Programs, contributing throughout the entire military planning lifecycle. You'll act as a trusted consultant, analyzing complex systems, policies, and processes while producing operational, contingency, and base plans to address key threats to the nation.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage extensive military planning knowledge in multiple project sprints within a fast-changing environment.
- Incorporate sensitive capabilities from compartmented programs into joint military operations planning.
- Serve as an integrator between Joint Planning Process and Special Access Programs under European Command.
- Deliver comprehensive planning products, including estimates, operational, base, and contingency plans.
- Advise clients on complex mission design, integration, and analysis challenges related to European Command sensitive activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 4 years supporting military planning operations.
- Proficient with the Joint Planning Process.
- Capable of coaching and training peers.
- Experience working independently on multiple short-term projects in dynamic environments.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with readiness to undergo polygraph examination.
- At least a high school diploma or GED.
Preferred Attributes
- Command-level planning experience, particularly at the Combatant Command tier.
- Familiarity with programs such as Sensitive Activities, Special Access Programs (SAP), or ACCM.
- Excellent professional communication skills bridging military and civilian stakeholders, from junior officers to generals.
- Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
- Completion of Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAWS) or School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) highly desirable.
Security Clearance
Applicants must have active TS/SCI clearance and may need to pass additional security verifications including polygraph examinations.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is approximately $86,800 to $198,000 annually, influenced by location, education, skills, and organizational factors. Work Model and Identity Verification
