About Marks and the Role
Marks is a creative agency renowned for crafting packaging and brand experiences that connect consumers with some of the world's most cherished and emerging brands. As a Middleweight Designer in our globally connected creative team based in London, you'll have the chance to contribute to a broad variety of projects, including strategic rebrands, new product launches, limited editions, shopper experiences, and brand refreshes. Supported by seasoned creative leadership, you will own projects, challenge norms, and leave a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop packaging and brand identities for internationally acclaimed brands.
- Create engaging design concepts driven by consumer insights.
- Work on limited editions, seasonal product launches, and new innovations.
- Refresh and evolve established brands to maintain cultural relevance and commercial appeal.
- Translate strategic briefs into outstanding creative executions across various platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Strategists, and Client Services to produce exceptional work.
- Confidently present ideas and actively participate in creative review sessions.
Candidate Profile and Required Skills
- Possess 2 to 5 years of experience in branding, packaging, or design within branding, communications, or media agencies.
- Demonstrate a compelling portfolio highlighting work in branding, packaging, and visual identity.
- Exhibit strong conceptual and production skills in brand and packaging design.
- Apply both strategic thinking and creative flair effectively.
- Experience crafting scalable design systems and brand architectures across multiple products or markets.
- Proficient user of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Dimension.
- Skilled in using presentation and collaboration tools such as Keynote and Miro.
- Effective communicator with strong collaborative abilities.
- Proactive and confident when constructively challenging briefs.
- Able to manage multiple projects effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced studio setting.
