Role Overview
This opportunity is for a Middle+ Marketing Data Analyst in Ireland, with the hiring process and subsequent steps handled by a partner company. The role sits at the crossroads of marketing, analytics, and business intelligence, focused on turning complex marketing data into clear insights that guide business decisions and improve measurable outcomes. It is a remote-first position suited to someone who enjoys solving data problems, working closely with clients and internal teams, and using BI, data modeling, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own analytics delivery for assigned client accounts from start to finish, making sure reporting solutions support business priorities and marketing objectives.
- Build, refine, and support dashboards and reports in BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Write, debug, and improve SQL queries used for analysis, reporting, investigations, and data checks.
- Develop and maintain transformation pipelines while applying solid data modeling practices and tools like dbt.
- Perform QA and user acceptance testing to confirm that data is accurate, consistent, dependable, and reliable.
- Work directly with stakeholders to understand requirements, convert business needs into analytical outputs, and present insights in a clear way.
- Spot patterns, risks, and opportunities in marketing data and share practical recommendations to improve results.
- Use AI-based tools to speed up analysis, reporting, documentation, and general productivity.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst with a strong emphasis on marketing analytics and marketing data environments.
- Advanced experience with at least one major BI platform, such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau, plus the ability to work across different reporting setups.
- Strong SQL capability, including building, tuning, and troubleshooting complex queries.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling and transformation tools, ideally dbt.
- Solid understanding of Google Analytics and how marketing performance is measured.
- Practical experience using Git for version control and collaborative work.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven experience working with clients, explaining technical topics clearly, and delivering insights that support business decisions.
- Experience with QA/UAT processes and validating large datasets.
- Professional-level English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day analytical work.
- Exposure to digital marketing platforms, marketing data sources, or agency settings would be an added advantage.
