Role Overview

This APAC Mid-Market Account Executive role focuses on bringing in new customers and creating lasting customer enthusiasm. You will own the sales journey from prospecting through closing, use creative outbound methods to uncover new opportunities, and work on complex deals with a high level of curiosity, drive, and commercial discipline.

As part of the sales organization, you will develop strong discovery skills, act as a strategic partner to prospects, and contribute directly to company growth while continuing your own development in a fast-moving environment.

What You Will Do

  • Build new business in an untapped territory by taking prospects from initial outreach through to signed deals, while serving as a trusted advisor and developing strong customer relationships.
  • Create account plans tailored to each target account, aligned with Gong’s strategy and informed by decision-makers, local market factors, buying journeys, existing investments, and future revenue opportunities.
  • Clearly explain Gong’s value to prospective customers and build strong interest in the product and its outcomes.
  • Improve messaging continuously to expand outbound prospecting and generate most opportunities through self-sourced activity.
  • Speak with senior leaders about the growing Revenue Intelligence market and position Gong as the leading solution in that space.
  • Work closely with SDR, Sales, and Sales Engineering teams to shape account-based strategies that surface value for go-to-market leaders.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant closing or sales experience.
  • Strong history of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Background in SaaS and enterprise software sales.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Highly creative, resourceful, detail-focused, and well organized.
  • Comfort working in a high-growth, fast-paced startup setting while remaining collaborative and self-directed.
  • Must be available and legally permitted to work from Singapore.
