Position Objective
We are seeking a Branch Teller based in Oaxaca to join Banco Santander México. As we redefine how we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration, and freedom to explore new ideas, the role's main focus is to deliver excellent customer service and perform cashier duties accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all cashier window services including deposits with comprehensive care.
- Process payment of checks ensuring quality service aligned with bank policies and regulations.
- Handle cash responsibly and accurately.
- Promote financial products to customers.
- Perform daily cash counts and cash register reconciliation.
- Validate checks and ensure compliance with internal standards.
Required Experience and Education
- Minimum of 1 year professional experience in similar roles focused on sales.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Administration, or related fields.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in counting, detecting counterfeit bills, and cash reconciliation.
- Knowledge of banking products and services such as accounts, cards, deposits, withdrawals, and investments.
- Familiarity with banking systems and internal platforms including Bansefi, Santander's internal apps, basic Excel, and transactional systems.
- Understanding of compliance and internal policies including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and data confidentiality.
- Customer service and transaction processes including opening/closing cash register and managing shifts.
- Basic digital tools competency such as corporate email, intranet, and documentation systems.
- Bank security protocols including handling suspicious transactions and daily reporting procedures.
