About the Role

Join Water Corporation as a Meter Reader based in Albany or Narrogin, where you can work independently and manage your own schedule while contributing to an essential community service. This position offers the freedom to start your day aligned with your personal commitments and involves working outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining physical activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform meter readings and conduct tap testing
  • Assist with maintenance of meters and identify water-related issues
  • Report problems with access and any non-compliant water services
  • Analyze meter reports and support customer inquiries

Candidate Profile

  • Possession of a WA Class C Driver’s Licence is mandatory
  • Physically capable of walking 10 to 15 kilometers daily
  • Ability to work independently with a strong emphasis on safety

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary of $65,936 plus superannuation and additional benefits
  • Provision of fully equipped work vehicle, uniform, and necessary gear
  • Options for flexible work hours, including working from home and 9-day fortnight
