This position is located at the L&T Head Office in Andheri East, Mumbai.

Role Responsibilities

• Engage closely with live mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and divestiture projects within L&T.
• Assist senior team members by conducting comprehensive research to identify potential M&A or divestment targets through primary and secondary sources, including networking, corporate events, and database searches.
• Analyze historical financial statements and annual reports to extract key trends, financial conditions, margins, and ratios of the entities involved.
• Carry out research on L&T Group companies and prepare competitive landscape data books.
• Develop detailed financial models to support evaluations.
• Perform valuation assessments of target companies utilizing recognized industry approaches like discounted cash flow (DCF), trading multiples, and transaction comparables.
• Prepare accurate and polished pitch materials such as teasers, presentations, and board documents.
• Monitor developments and trends in startups, technology, and digital sectors.
• Critically review broker research reports for insights.
• Manage data-room activities when necessary.
• Utilize Bloomberg terminal and other specialized M&A databases for data gathering and analysis.
• Liaise effectively with various stakeholders involved in the M&A processes.
