About the Role
Join the newly established Corporate Development & Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team within a publicly traded company based in Chester County, PA. This team is focused on driving the organization's expansion through acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, strategic investments, and partnerships. The position offers substantial interaction with executive leadership and the chance to manage deals from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support M&A transactions across all stages of the deal process.
- Construct comprehensive financial models, valuation assessments, and business cases.
- Conduct detailed analyses such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company evaluations, precedent transactions, and synergy assessments.
- Coordinate thorough due diligence activities involving finance, legal, tax, accounting, and operations teams.
- Prepare and deliver investment committee and executive-level presentations.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders, advisors, investment bankers, and various transaction partners.
- Assist with planning and monitoring post-transaction integration and performance.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 6+ years of pertinent experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Valuations, Transaction Advisory, or Strategy Consulting.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications.
- Experience in facilitating acquisitions, divestitures, or similar strategic transactions.
- Additional credentials such as CPA, CFA, MBA, or advanced financial education are advantageous.
