Job description

Role Overview

This position provides comprehensive exposure to both Merchandising and Client Development departments, aimed at supporting the growth of Louis Vuitton's business in Singapore and Malaysia. The intern will play a key role in enhancing commercial performance, facilitating client engagement, and supporting important retail activities such as product debuts, in-store experiences, and client gatherings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day merchandising operations across various product segments by preparing reports and tracking sales metrics.
  • Conduct sales data analysis using Excel, NEMO, and Power BI to uncover patterns, potential risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with retail outlets to meet sales targets and manage stock allocation alongside the Supply Chain team.
  • Provide insightful qualitative feedback concerning new product launches and store performance.
  • Participate in market research and help formulate tailored local product strategies.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between local stores and regional teams to ensure cohesive business focus.
  • Support merchandising projects including product training sessions, visual merchandising consistency, and new store openings.
  • Take part in retail activations such as styling sessions, trunk shows, and client events.
  • Assist in planning and executing client events through vendor management, logistical coordination, and on-site support.
  • Prepare necessary event documentation, conduct post-event evaluations to improve future initiatives.
  • Coordinate with retail and logistics teams to manage shipments and deliveries tied to events and activations.
  • Manage gift processes by consolidating orders, monitoring inventory, and ensuring punctual distribution.
  • Assist in handling Virtual Bridge requests that enable local and international client appointments and experiences.
  • Help implement client-focused activities like in-store animations, VIP client events, and personalized services.
  • Maintain and update client development records, schedules, and reports at both country and regional levels.
  • Track competitor activities and communicate relevant insights to key stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative assistance such as schedule management, responding to store queries, and preparing business reviews.

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and adept at managing multiple deadlines.
  • Proactive, flexible, and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
  • Independent worker with strong collaboration skills across diverse teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI is beneficial.
  • Availability to commit from 1 July to 30 December 2026.
