Key Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement of fabrics and accessory trims essential for production.
• Create purchase orders aligning with manufacturing needs.
• Communicate and follow up with suppliers to ensure punctual delivery of materials.
• Monitor lead times for raw materials to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Verify incoming materials meet quality and quantity standards.
• Collaborate with vendors for processes such as printing, dyeing, and embroidery.
• Maintain precise procurement and merchandising records using Microsoft Excel.
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers to meet cost and delivery objectives.
• Spot areas for improving processes and enhancing operational efficiency.

Desired Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of garment merchandising and sourcing techniques.
• Familiarity with fabric treatments including printing, dyeing, and embroidery processes.
• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel functions.

Eligibility

• Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Kolkata or relocate accordingly.
• Preference will be given to those able to join immediately.

Additional Information
