Job description
Role Overview
Join a community-focused, locally operated store delivering health, beauty, and convenience services. You will play a vital role ensuring customers remain the core focus of all store activities.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain backroom product inventory following standardized Backroom Inventory Management procedures.
- Utilize PDT and MMS systems to complete daily merchandising tasks efficiently.
- Manage product returns and exit strategies as directed.
- Maintain expertise in assigned product areas, overseeing inventory accuracy, product placement, and monitoring expiry dates.
- Uphold store visual standards to reflect current trends and ensure product displays are inviting and shopper-friendly.
- Receive merchandise according to company policies while maintaining documentation for receipts and returns.
- Keep the backroom clean and orderly by adhering to proven backroom organizational principles.
- Support front store management in maintaining store standards and quality.
- Provide exceptional customer service, adhering to dress code policies and actively engaging with customers in the aisles.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, store standards, and loss prevention protocols.
- Carry out additional duties as required to support store operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making capabilities.
- Efficient, well-organized, and attentive to detail with excellent record-keeping skills.
- Adaptability to changing situations within the retail environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with cash register operations.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivation are essential.
- Experience handling cash transactions accurately when applicable.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
- Flexible work schedule including availability for nights and weekends.
- Physical capability to lift items up to 50 pounds and use ladders safely.

Compensation
