About the Role
Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring a Merchandiser Grader to support its mission of transforming donated items into job opportunities and community impact. In this store-based role, you will help assess donated merchandise, contribute to sales in stores and online, and support a workplace that also advances environmental sustainability by keeping usable goods out of landfills.

What You Will Do
- Inspect donated items carefully and assign appropriate quality grades.
- Process goods efficiently to help the team meet daily output targets.
- Move between different workstations as needed to keep production on track.
- Recognize issues quickly and resolve them independently or with help from management when needed.
- Keep communication clear and effective with supervisors and coworkers.
- Contribute positively to teamwork and cooperation across the store.
- Follow training playbooks, e-learning content, and work instructions consistently.
- Keep the work area tidy, orderly, and safe.
- Follow safety and security rules, including reporting hazards and injuries promptly.
- Attend all required trainings and meetings.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Ability to help maintain a strong team culture focused on excellent guest experience.
- Good spoken and written English communication skills, along with strong interpersonal ability.
- Careful attention to detail and the ability to work in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organization skills and sound judgment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be certified and licensed to operate a forklift.
- Applicants aged 16 to 17 are not permitted to operate forklifts, balers, or compactors.
