Role overview
As Merchandise Leader, you will take ownership of the Fresh area and guide the merchandise team to deliver strong in-store presentation standards. The role focuses on making products look appealing, well placed, and consistently high in quality so customers enjoy a better shopping experience. You will also ensure merchandising work meets all internal policies and legal obligations.

What you will do
- Take responsibility for the Fresh category and lead the team to maintain excellent visual merchandising standards across the store.
- Carry out regular checks and audits to protect freshness and quality, especially within fresh food preparation and presentation.
- Maintain planogram compliance, store tidiness, stock loss control, markdown execution, and alignment with promotional campaigns.
- Advocate for the Own Brand range and help the team act as knowledgeable food ambassadors.
- Identify operational issues, perform health checks, and support improvements that strengthen functional performance.
- Act as Store Manager on assigned shifts when required and contribute actively to collaboration across the team.
