About the Role
This is a contract position spanning two years, with the potential for a one-year extension depending on performance. The role includes a productivity incentive added to the monthly salary, allowing higher total earnings for those who surpass monthly key performance indicators (KPIs).
The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), the national trade union representing over 3,900 employers across all economic sectors, serves as the employers' voice in the tripartite system alongside the National Trades Union Congress and the Ministry of Manpower. SNEF's mission is to support organizations in achieving sustainable growth through responsible employment practices, promoting industrial peace and business sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead efforts in recruiting new corporate members.
- Oversee the entire membership recruitment process from initial contact with prospects to successful conversion and onboarding, with a goal-oriented focus on sustainable membership growth.
- Establish and nurture a robust pipeline of potential members by proactive outreach, including cold calls, leveraging referrals, and attending industry events.
- Maintain accurate records and clear tracking of leads and their conversion status throughout every stage.
- Analyze recruitment results and market trends to optimize outreach approaches.
- Regularly prepare reports on progress towards KPIs, offering practical recommendations based on insights.
- Contribute to team objectives by taking on additional projects or tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration.
Requirements
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, or client engagement roles.
- A proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- A strong sales-oriented mindset capable of recognizing opportunities and closing deals effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently yet collaborate well within a team.
- Confident in interacting with and influencing senior-level stakeholders including C-suite and HR executives.
- Prior experience working within industry associations, trade bodies, or membership organizations is preferred.
- Availability to work beyond standard office hours, including weekends when necessary, with compensatory time off provided.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
