Job description
Role summary
This is a full-time remote position for a Member of Technical Staff focused on legal research. The assignment is with a client in the software development space, where the work centers on analyzing legal and regulatory requirements and turning those findings into practical product and compliance support.
Compensation
The annual pay range for this role is $350K to $500K.
What you will do
- Study laws, regulations, and court decisions to guide product-related choices.
- Design technical methods and tools that make legal research more efficient and scalable.
- Work closely with different teams to weave legal guidance into product design and development.
- Track new legal developments and assess how they may affect technology solutions.
- Prepare technical notes, process documents, and compliance guidelines for product teams.
What we are looking for
- A Juris Doctor degree or an equivalent legal qualification.
- Hands-on familiarity with legal research approaches and research tools.
- Experience reviewing regulations and building compliance-oriented frameworks.
- The ability to convert legal concepts into clear technical requirements.
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
