Overview
KIMS Hospital invites applications for the role of Medical Secretary within their Primary Care team located in Maidstone. This is a permanent position, working 22.5 hours weekly during weekdays from 8am to 5pm. It offers a rewarding opportunity for administrative professionals aiming to advance their career in medical administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating appointments and managing patient inquiries specifically in Pain Management services.
- Creating, formatting, and efficiently handling clinical correspondence, including transcription and letter writing.
- Managing online appointment triage and maintaining diaries.
- Serving as a liaison among patients, consultants, and internal teams to facilitate a seamless patient experience.
- Keeping patient records accurate and organized, including scanning and filing documentation through various software tools.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will exhibit exemplary organizational abilities paired with meticulous attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a compassionate, professional demeanor. They must be capable of prioritizing tasks, multitasking, and performing well under pressure. Prior administrative or secretarial experience, familiarity with touch-typing, and proficiency in Excel are desirable but not mandatory.
