About the Role
We are representing a fast-growing, innovation-focused business in pharmaceuticals and medical devices that is working to improve wound care treatments. With a strong development pipeline and an expanding international presence, the company is hiring a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Manager to reinforce its Medical Affairs team in Germany.
This is a remote, field-oriented position with an expected travel commitment of around 30% to 40% within the assigned territory. In this role, you will contribute scientific and clinical insight, support the generation of evidence, and foster trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to help improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
You will serve as the scientific lead for wound care in the designated territory, while also supporting relationship-building with KOLs and HCPs. The role includes contributing to clinical evaluations, gathering and assessing data, and helping turn evidence into practical insights. You will also collaborate with quality improvement efforts and support broader medical strategy.
Medical & Scientific Leadership
- Represent the scientific voice for wound care across the assigned region.
- Develop and sustain productive relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
Evidence Generation & Clinical Support
- Assist with clinical assessments and data gathering activities.
- Review clinical information and help build real-world evidence outputs.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects and related initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work alongside commercial colleagues in a coordinated way.
- Offer scientific guidance and review materials to ensure factual accuracy.
Education & Training
- Create and deliver scientific training sessions and presentations.
Therapy & Portfolio Development
- Spot potential new indications and support collaboration with research and development teams.
- Participate in scientific congresses and related external forums.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings an advanced qualification in life sciences or a closely related discipline, along with at least five years of experience in Medical Affairs or an MSL position. Hands-on wound care experience is essential for this role. You should be comfortable working independently in a remote setting and be able to manage territory-based responsibilities effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs or as an MSL.
- Proven background in wound care is required.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Confident presentation and training delivery.
- Ability to interpret and analyse clinical data.
