Role Overview
Pikes Peak Post Acute is hiring a Medical Records Coordinator to help keep resident documentation organized, accurate, and compliant. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, detail work, and supporting a healthcare team from behind the scenes rather than through direct bedside care.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep resident medical records maintained, arranged, and periodically checked for accuracy.
- Review charts to make sure they are complete and aligned with compliance requirements.
- Support clinical team members by handling record requests and helping with documentation needs.
- Protect sensitive resident information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Careful attention to detail and a strong accuracy mindset.
- Comfort with basic computer tasks and filing systems.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is helpful, though not mandatory.
- A reliable, organized, and collaborative approach to work.
