Job description
About Atria
Atria Health Institute is a membership-based primary and specialty care organization centered on prevention and longevity. Its model brings together physicians from multiple disciplines to deliver proactive, preventive, and precision-driven care for members and their families. Membership includes primary care, advanced screening and diagnostics, urgent care, specialty care, 24/7 home visits, and imaging as part of the annual fee.
The organization’s purpose is to help bring healthspan and lifespan into alignment by turning scientific advances into clinical practice in real time, while keeping a human-centered approach to care. Delivering this level of personalized, preventive care requires strong coordination and a high standard of execution across the team.
Following the opening of its flagship institute in New York in 2022 and its expansion to South Florida in 2024, Atria is preparing to launch its Los Angeles institute in late spring 2026.
About the Role
This position offers the chance to join the founding Los Angeles team as a Medical Records Data Analyst. You will work closely with the Care Team to manage member medical records and EHR data with precision, confidentiality, and speed. The role is well suited to someone who thrives in a high-growth environment and wants to contribute to a mission-driven organization focused on improving health outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Own data quality work tied to registration and abstraction of historical clinical information.
- Review and reconcile medical records, flag inconsistencies for providers, and monitor records that are still pending.
- Enter member health details such as allergies, medical history, diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and treatment information.
- Keep EHR files orderly by scanning, labeling, and routing clinical documents correctly.
- Help gather and file medical records from both internal teams and outside health care systems.
- Investigate record errors and missing details, and request more information when needed.
- Maintain medical records in a secure, organized, and easily retrievable state.
- Partner with internal teams to respond to questions about forms, records, programs, and storage systems used to manage access.
- Provide general administrative help and take on related duties assigned by leadership.
Requirements
- An associate degree is required; extra training or certification as a medical assistant or nurse is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience handling medical records within a health care setting.
- Comfort using EHR systems, email, internet research, and multiple software tools at once.
- Strong phone presence and clear direct communication skills.
- Reliable collaboration, adaptability, and a strong commitment to quality and teamwork.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $85,000 per year.
Benefits
- Fully employer-paid health and wellness benefits starting on the date of hire.
- Membership for employees and dependents with access to 24/7 virtual care.
- Support for fertility and family planning needs.
- Employer-covered preventive health screening options through partner hospitals, including calcium score testing.
- Fitness-related perks, including Wellhub.
- 401(k) contributions with a 4% company match after 6 months.
- Flexible time off.
- Support for CME and CEU requirements tied to professional licensure.
Who You Are
You bring a high standard of work, enjoy collaborating with others, and are comfortable adapting as priorities shift. You are self-driven, dependable, and committed to helping build a strong team culture while contributing to a new vision for health care.
