Role Overview
The Medical Manager for the Middle East will spearhead the medical strategy and scientific engagement for the AI-enabled cardiovascular and respiratory digital health technologies tailored to the regional market, primarily Saudi Arabia. This position connects clinical innovation with digital health to ensure robust integration of AI-driven screening, triage, and therapeutic tools into clinical practice.
Primary Duties
- Formulate and implement regional medical strategies for cardiovascular and respiratory AI screening technologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams—regulatory, commercial, and market access—to align medical goals with business strategies.
- Contribute medical expertise to product development, lifecycle management, and go-to-market planning.
- Engage with potential clients and partners to expand commercial opportunities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and academic bodies.
- Lead advisory boards, scientific conferences, and educational initiatives.
- Deliver presentations and training to diverse stakeholders.
- Support clinical trials design and real-world evidence studies, interpreting data to showcase product benefits.
- Work with data scientists to validate AI algorithm accuracy.
- Manage local regulatory submissions and maintain compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Provide medical review and approval of marketing materials.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on digital health transformation for clinical teams.
- Promote adoption of AI diagnostics within healthcare workflows and collaborate with telemedicine and health system partners.
- Keep abreast of developments in AI, digital biomarkers, and cardiology diagnostics.
Candidate Requirements
- Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) is mandatory; specialization or experience in cardiology or preventive medicine preferred.
- At least 3 years' experience as a medical affairs manager in an international company, ideally with clinical development or digital health exposure.
- Proven experience within the Saudi Arabian healthcare market is required; familiarity with other Middle East markets is advantageous.
- Deep understanding of cardiovascular diseases, diagnostics, and AI health applications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
- Experience with AI/ML diagnostic tools and knowledge of regional digital health regulatory and reimbursement processes is beneficial.
- Demonstrated passion for technological innovation improving patient outcomes.
