Job description
Overview
H&A Marketing is seeking an experienced media buyer to join our team as a freelance or part-time contractor, focusing on managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns for both our agency and our clients. Our main sectors include commercial and residential roofing, residential solar energy, construction and home services, as well as marketing agency lead generation.
This role is for an individual professional, not an agency subcontractor, who is interested in a long-term collaboration and growth within our team.
Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and refine Google Ads campaigns.
- Oversee Facebook and Instagram ads via Meta Ads Manager.
- Conduct thorough research on keywords, audiences, competitors, and markets.
- Design campaign frameworks with appropriate targeting and budget allocation.
- Track lead quality, cost per lead, conversion efficiency, and other critical performance metrics.
- Execute continuous testing and optimization processes.
- Set up and troubleshoot conversion tracking systems.
- Integrate campaigns with landing pages, forms, call tracking solutions, and CRM platforms.
- Deliver clear updates on campaign performance and provide actionable improvement suggestions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance profitability and scale campaigns effectively.
Our internal creative team will supply assets such as videos, photos, graphics, copywriting, and landing pages, which the media buyer will leverage to build and boost successful campaigns.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta advertising platforms.
- Demonstrated success in generating qualified leads.
- Background in advertising for industries like roofing, construction, solar, home services, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of conversion tracking and attribution methodologies.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Pixel setup and management.
- Experience using marketing tools like GoHighLevel and LeadConnector.
- Capability to analyze underperforming campaigns and implement data-driven improvements.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and reporting abilities.
- Experience with call tracking platforms such as WhatConverts is highly desirable.
Performance Expectations
The ideal candidate will actively monitor campaigns, troubleshoot issues, conduct tests, and help maximize qualified lead generation, rather than merely launching and passively overseeing campaigns.
You should be able to confidently discuss metrics and topics including cost per qualified lead, search terms and negative keyword strategies, lead quality, conversion rates, attribution models, budget optimization, landing page results, and scaling strategies.
Compensation
The expected hourly rate for this position is approximately $45, varying based on experience, availability, and demonstrated campaign results.
Application Instructions
- Provide a concise summary of your experience with Google Ads and Meta advertising platforms.
- Include examples of your successful results, ideally related to roofing, construction, solar, or home-related services.
- Specify your precise role in attaining these outcomes.
- Detail the size of advertising budgets you have managed on a monthly basis.
- Explain your familiarity with GoHighLevel, LeadConnector, conversion tracking, and attribution.
- State your current availability and your proposed hourly compensation.
Note: Generic agency submissions are discouraged. We want an experienced individual prepared to work directly with our team.
