Mechanical Technician

Overview

We are hiring a Mechanical Technician to support warehouse maintenance operations. This role focuses on keeping equipment and mechanical systems running safely, reliably, and efficiently through planned upkeep and hands-on repair work.

What you will do

• Identify mechanical issues in warehouse machinery and equipment and carry out the necessary repairs
• Investigate breakdowns, restore equipment to working condition, and verify proper operation afterward
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance on a scheduled basis
• Examine, clean, lubricate, fine-tune, and service mechanical components and moving assemblies
• Support the setup and commissioning of mechanical equipment
• Run tests after repair and maintenance work to confirm performance
• Follow safety rules and HSE standards at all times
• Keep accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and service documentation
• Flag repeated equipment failures and suggest corrective measures

Requirements

• A diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Systems, or a similar discipline is required
• At least 2 to 4 years of experience in mechanical or industrial maintenance is needed
• Prior work in warehouses, logistics sites, distribution centers, or similar industrial settings is an advantage
• Strong working knowledge of motors, pumps, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, and material-handling equipment is essential
• You should be able to diagnose faults and repair mechanical systems effectively
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance methods is important
• Ability to understand technical manuals and maintenance instructions is required
• Good awareness of workplace safety practices and standards is expected

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and is a full-time, onsite role.
