Mechanical Supervisor (QC) - Ministry of Defense, KSA

Role overview

Greenland Group is hiring a Mechanical Supervisor (QC) for a Ministry of Defense project in Saudi Arabia. The position focuses on leading mechanical quality control activities, supervising inspection teams, and ensuring all site work meets the required technical and compliance standards.

Team leadership and supervision

• Guide, monitor, and support junior QA/QC inspectors as well as subcontractor teams.
• Arrange ongoing training and make sure the team is prepared to handle updated inspection needs across different tasks.
• Build and revise look-ahead plans for critical, scheduled, and technically complex quality-related work.

Inspections and quality assurance

• Carry out or oversee inspections for materials, heavy machinery, piping systems, tanks, and structural installations.
• Confirm that dimensions are accurate and that alignment, leveling, and final mechanical completion are all correct, including items such as pressure vessels.
• Observe and validate mechanical test procedures, including hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.
• Ensure work follows the relevant standards and codes, such as ASME, API, AWS, and ANSI, based on the facility requirements.

Education and experience

• A diploma in Mechanical is required.
• The role calls for 5 to 9 years of experience.
• Applicants should come from business backgrounds such as training institutes, overseas companies, group companies, or the automobile sector.

Compensation
