Role Overview

This position is responsible for taking ownership of awarded projects and managing them through the full execution cycle. The role suits fresh graduates who want structured learning, practical project exposure, and a clear path toward future managerial responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assume control of awarded projects from the tender or sales function and lead them through the complete delivery process.
• Build detailed project execution plans covering scope, timelines, submission schedules, and long-lead material requirements.
• Handle document and material submissions and work to secure approvals from clients in a timely manner.
• Check and coordinate engineering drawings as well as other technical project documents.
• Support procurement by preparing purchase requests and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Work with internal teams such as superintendents and construction managers on installation, testing, and commissioning activities at site.
• Monitor overall progress, keep schedules up to date, and produce regular status updates for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate with clients through meetings, progress updates, and expectation management.
• Keep track of project expenditure and help ensure work is delivered within the approved budget.
• Manage variations and clarification items such as RFIs and change orders, while maintaining proper records.
• Prepare progress claims and follow through on billing milestones.
• Assist with FAT, site inspections, and project closeout or handover activities.
• Ensure all work follows safety rules, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to support successful project completion.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome, and the company will provide structured guidance and on-the-job training.
• Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a related project management role will be considered an advantage.
• Experience managing several projects at the same time is a plus.
• Strong planning, organisation, and follow-up abilities, with careful attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work professionally with people at all levels, both internally and externally.

Additional Information

Salary: SGD 3,000 to SGD 3,500 basic pay, plus additional allowances.
