About Khan Academy
Khan Academy is a mission-driven nonprofit focused on making free, high-quality learning available to people everywhere. Its platform serves millions of learners each month and continues to expand by offering strong instructional and practice materials that help students build confidence and master new ideas.
About Khan Academy India
The India team works to deliver a locally relevant, world-class learning experience for students in India. Its mastery-based learning model lets learners build understanding at their own pace before moving on to more advanced topics. From serving under 500,000 learners in 2016, the platform has grown to reach nearly 4 million learners every month across websites, apps, and YouTube. The audience includes self-directed learners at home as well as students guided by teachers in schools. A key priority is reaching underserved communities through accessible local-language content and collaborations with major public school systems. The platform is already available in Assamese, Hindi, Hinglish, Kannada, Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi, and Punjabi.
About the India Content Team
