Material Handler

Job Summary

This role involves performing chemical handling tasks by adhering strictly to defined procedures and standard practices to maintain safe and efficient workflow. Responsibilities include handling hazardous materials safely, including preparation, weighing, packaging, filling, and labeling, following cGMP, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, and departmental guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily repacking tasks within cleanroom environments following established protocols.
• Manage routine receipt, storage, and shipment of materials or products, ensuring accurate logging and system management of inventory.
• Maintain precise inventory records, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely processing of orders.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to facilitate product movement efficiently.
• Ensure workplace safety and organization while complying with all safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot common operational issues using standard practices.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth coordination of tasks in the warehouse.

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferably completed High School or NITEC education.
• Certification in OSHA Forklift operation and HAZMAT handling is advantageous.
• Ability to safely lift loads up to 25 kg using correct techniques.
• Strong emphasis on safety and ability to follow instructions diligently.
• Capacity to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Adaptability to change priorities as necessary.
• Exhibit responsible work habits and reliability.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant company software applications.
• Capable of working within a cleanroom setting and understanding SOPs, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Availability to work afternoon shifts, typically from 3 PM to 12 AM.
