Job description

Role overview

Pressed Juicery is hiring a Marketplace Growth Manager, focused on SEO, to strengthen search visibility and drive revenue across its digital channels. The position is centered on traffic growth, retail marketplace listing quality, digital shelf performance, analytics, and AI-driven search optimization.

This is a temporary assignment intended to cover a planned parental leave, with an expected duration from July 2026 to January 2027.

About the company

Pressed Juicery is a modern wellness brand created to make better-for-you products part of everyday life. Established in 2010 by three friends, the company grew from a small Los Angeles juice bar into a broad omnichannel business with products sold through national retail partners, its own stores, and a direct-to-consumer channel.

The organization describes itself as one team focused on bringing high-quality wellness products to market and continuing to build what comes next in the category.

Mission

The company’s mission is to empower people on their wellness journey.

Workplace culture

  • Communication is expected to be direct, open, and candid.

  • Growth: wellness is pursued with intention, positive energy, and continuous progress.

Responsibilities

  • Own and improve product listings across major retail partner sites such as Target, Costco, Instacart, and Amazon so they perform better in search and convert more effectively.
  • Review and update product titles, descriptions, images, and enhanced content across retailer digital shelves to keep branding consistent and search-friendly.
  • Track share of shelf, search ranking, and content compliance across wholesale partners, then identify and close content gaps proactively.
  • Work with the wholesale team to keep digital shelf content aligned with new launches and business priorities.
  • Build and execute content plans around high-value search themes such as juice cleanses, gut health, and immunity.
  • Improve blogs and content hubs using structured data, schema markup, and FAQs to strengthen AI and voice search visibility.
  • Partner with content marketing to align keyword strategy and brand storytelling.
  • Optimize product and category pages for strong-intent search queries while coordinating with performance marketing on paid search term insights.
  • Handle site audits, technical SEO fixes, and crawl improvements to support indexing and site speed.
  • Collaborate with the technology lead on site structure and navigation improvements that support SEO.
  • Prepare and share SEO dashboards and performance updates for internal teams and leadership.
  • Monitor keyword movement, competitor activity, and presence in AI-generated search results.
  • Explain SEO performance in terms of traffic impact and revenue contribution.
  • Maintain Google Business Profiles and store location pages for local and “near me” searches.
  • Partner with retail operations to keep Apple Maps, Yelp, and similar directory listings accurate.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of SEO experience, including marketplace SEO, optimization work, and technical SEO.
  • At least 3 years of experience in eCommerce or direct-to-consumer environments such as Shopify, Amazon, or Target.
  • Practical experience with SEO and analytics tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightLocal, and GA4; experience with AEO or local SEO tools is an advantage.
  • Strong Shopify experience is required.
  • Experience with retail content management platforms such as Syndigo, ChanelAdvisor, Rithum, or Rivir is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings in a clear, executive-friendly way.
  • Strong problem-solving approach with creativity, data orientation, and comfort in a fast-moving, collaborative, resourceful environment.
  • Genuine interest in wellness, health, and helping people feel their best.
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills, including confidence presenting to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Prior experience supporting an omnichannel growth brand is preferred.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule of 2 or more days per week in the Culver City office if located in the Los Angeles area.
  • Must be legally allowed to work in the United States without restrictions.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Flexible Spending Account.
