The Engagement Growth Marketing team operates at the junction of marketing, engineering, and data science, playing a vital role in driving the company's overall revenue. As a Senior Growth Marketing Manager focusing on Hosts, you will manage Airbnb's interactions with its Host community by developing and executing strategic lifecycle marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement multi-channel lifecycle marketing strategies and campaigns (including email, push notifications, onsite, and in-app messaging) aimed at boosting host activation, engagement, retention, and reactivation.
- Establish and lead a rigorous testing and learning agenda through experiments and comprehensive user data analysis to optimize and automate successful campaigns.
- Translate strategic business objectives into precise campaign requirements, detailing necessary data, segmentation, and dynamic content needs.
- Oversee extensive KPI reporting with dashboard creation, effectively communicating insights and performance outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Data Science, Creative, Business Operations, Host Community, Marketing, and Brand to drive campaign development and promote host engagement efforts.
Required Qualifications and Expertise
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in CRM within a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment, with proven success managing large-scale automated B2C lifecycle marketing programs.
- Solid understanding of CRM strategies, marketing technology frameworks, and relational databases, including hands-on work with Production and Engineering teams.
- Strong project management abilities capable of navigating changing team dynamics and fostering collaboration across diverse functions.
- Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, including expertise with Excel and visualization tools such as Tableau; SQL proficiency is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication talents, with aptitude for interpreting analytics and presenting actionable insights to senior executives.
- Deep passion for CRM and user engagement, characterized by ownership mentality, attention to user journey flows, and systematic problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and progressive experience.
Location and Work Environment
This is a remote-role eligible position for candidates residing in the United States in states where Airbnb maintains a registered entity. Occasional presence at an Airbnb office or participation in offsites may be required as per managerial agreement. Candidates are advised to verify state eligibility due to evolving regulations.
Inclusion and Accommodations
Airbnb is committed to diversity and aims to attract a broad array of talent, encouraging applications from all qualified individuals. The company actively promotes an inclusive hiring process and provides reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities upon request.
