Role Overview
The Brand & Content Marketing Specialist will spearhead the crafting of persuasive content that reinforces the CanQualify brand, fosters customer confidence, and propels business expansion. This position suits creative, detail-oriented individuals passionate about storytelling, community building, and simplifying intricate concepts into engaging messages.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing mediums.
- Create diverse content including blogs, articles, website text, newsletters, emails, social media posts, customer success narratives, case studies, and executive communications.
- Translate technical product information into clear, customer-centric messaging.
- Manage editorial schedules and coordinate cross-departmental content production.
- Oversee social media presence, particularly on LinkedIn, devising content calendars aligned with company activities, launches, and industry trends.
- Engage with online communities, respond to interactions, and seek opportunities to broaden brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Plan and produce video content varying from short clips to extended formats, including capturing onsite footage for testimonials, demos, and events.
- Edit videos for distribution across multiple platforms and support digital event productions such as webinars.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop thought leadership articles and materials, draft press releases, and pursue media exposure.
- Facilitate customer advocacy efforts by coordinating testimonials, case studies, reviews, and branded collateral supporting sales initiatives.
- Aid in event planning and execution, including trade shows, conferences, and customer gatherings, providing live content coverage and promotional support.
- Develop internal educational resources such as SOPs, training materials, instructional videos, and AI-powered support tools in cooperation with product and customer success teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or related fields.
- Between 3 to 6 years of experience in content marketing, brand communication, or similar roles.
- Excellent skills in writing, editing, messaging, and storytelling tailored to B2B audiences.
- Demonstrated ability in creating multi-channel marketing content and managing social media calendars.
- Strong skills in project management and organization, with capability to manage various tasks simultaneously and independently.
- Understanding of SEO, analytics, content strategies, and lead generation fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with marketing tools such as HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for events and content creation.
Preferred Experience
- Background in B2B SaaS, technology, compliance, or software sectors.
- Skills in video production and editing.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, HubSpot, and other content management systems.
- Experience supporting executive thought leadership and public relations.
- Knowledge of customer advocacy programs and online community management.
- Creation of training and instructional content, knowledge base documentation.
