About Sézane and Role Overview

Now expanding its presence in the US market, Sézane is seeking a Marketing & Special Projects Associate to join their New York City team. This associate will play a vital role in shaping experiential marketing and brand partnership initiatives with a focus on turning creative concepts into engaging consumer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage special marketing projects across the US and Canada end-to-end, from initial planning to evaluation, collaborating closely with the US Offline Marketing Manager.
  • Coordinate cross-departmentally with teams including Influence, Events, Communications, Retail, Operations, Assortment, Legal, and Creative to ensure brand consistency and quality.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with local and recurring collaborators that align with Sézane's brand values to enhance regional presence.
  • Lead onsite project execution including overseeing installations, production logistics, team preparations, and store openings while managing vendor and global team communications.
  • Implement offline marketing campaigns such as direct mail, billboards, and print media in alignment with brand guidelines and market relevance.
  • Handle comprehensive project budgets maintaining financial tracking, reporting, ROI analysis, and post-project learnings.
  • Collaborate with the Paris creative team for copywriting and asset development for offline campaigns and manage subsequent local production and distribution.
  • Create and update detailed project schedules, monitoring critical milestones and proactively managing risks.

Qualifications and Profile

  • At least 5 years’ experience in managing creative offline projects, experiential marketing, events, or brand partnerships, preferably within fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or culture sectors.
  • Based in New York with the ability to work onsite regularly and undertake frequent domestic travel for activations and projects.
  • Flexible schedule accommodating coordination across time zones including LA, NY, and Paris.
  • Experienced in planning and executing offline marketing campaigns and versed in basic copywriting.
  • Highly detail- and process-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective negotiator capable of managing relationships with vendors.
  • Apt at managing multiple projects concurrently within a compact team structure.
  • Passionate about creatively activating offline marketing tailored to local tastes, with a balanced focus on brand alignment, operational feasibility, and local appeal.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a hands-on approach who remains composed under pressure and solutions-focused.
  • Keen awareness of cultural trends and an interest in local arts, design, and venues across the US and Canada.
  • Bonus attributes: strong network in print/asset production, bilingual in French and English.

Compensation and Inclusion
