Role Overview
The Production Operations Coordinator is instrumental in aiding the Universal Television Entertainment Marketing Production Operations team by orchestrating operational efforts, enhancing team workflows, assisting in project management, and ensuring smooth daily functioning of the department. The coordinator acts as a pivotal contact for team processes, digital tools, onboarding procedures, and interdepartmental collaboration to keep projects on track and aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a knowledgeable resource and advocate for the usage of team tools such as Airtable, Microsoft 365, Slack, and Frame.io along with other operational software.
- Deliver administrative and operational assistance to support team members and leadership, improving overall efficiency and performance.
- Assist the Operations Manager with initiation and execution of department projects and strategic initiatives.
- Lead onboarding efforts for new team members ensuring effective integration and orientation.
- Maintain detailed project tracking and provide timely status updates across multiple concurrent projects.
- Manage award submission activities including schedules, documentation, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee and replenish office and operational inventories as required.
- Foster and maintain productive partnerships with internal colleagues, external vendors, creative collaborators, and production agencies.
- Update and manage comprehensive contact databases including vendors, agencies, and partners.
- Take charge of special project coordination and process optimization initiatives as assigned.
- Supervise interns and participants in the page program, providing training and mentorship.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational workflows, processes, and team output.
- Support evaluation and integration of new technologies and tools that enhance team productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in television marketing, production, operations, project coordination, or related areas.
- Proficiency with collaboration and project management platforms including Airtable, Microsoft 365, Slack, or similar tools.

Additional Details
- This role currently requires a hybrid working arrangement, necessitating at least four days per week working on-site in the office, with potential for changes in the in-office expectations.
