About the Role
This position is with a legendary motorcycle brand renowned for its heritage and sustained success in the UK market. To maintain and expand its market presence and dealership engagement across Europe, they are recruiting a Marketing Manager. The role combines strategic marketing direction with tactical execution to enhance brand visibility, market share, and grow the rider community throughout the region.
Working in close coordination with the UK head office, regional distributors, dealers, and multifunctional teams, this person will be tasked with masterminding integrated marketing campaigns that boost sales, strengthen loyalty, and uplift the premium motorcycle brand's standing.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and deploy a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with overall brand direction and commercial goals.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor moves, and customer insights to identify expansion opportunities within European markets.
- Customize global campaigns for market-specific relevance and business impact.
- Lead cross-channel marketing initiatives encompassing digital, retail, public relations, events, and partnerships in cooperation with the Group team.
- Coordinate successful product launches ensuring clear messaging and strong dealer support.
- Maintain brand uniformity across all European platforms including dealer collateral, online assets, and live experiences.
- Drive and optimize digital marketing results across paid media, owned properties, and earned channels.
- Expand the motorcycle rider community through innovative use of social media, CRM systems, content creation, and ambassador programs.
- Work collaboratively with marketing agencies to enhance digital performance and brand narratives.
- Deliver marketing toolkits, campaign materials, and best practice guidance to European distributors and dealers.
- Support sales marketing efforts including showroom branding, POS displays, and local event execution.
- Ensure marketing activities meet brand standards and quality benchmarks.
- Organize and manage large-scale European and global events such as trade shows, demonstration days, press rides, and community gatherings.
- Establish and foster partnerships with motorcycling organizations, lifestyle brands, and influencers that resonate with the brand ethos.
- Oversee the budgeting for European and global marketing efforts, ensuring effective resource use and tracking ROI.
- Provide regular performance reports including campaign results, market trends, and key performance indicators to senior management.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, including contract negotiations.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven marketing experience in motorcycle, automotive, motorsport, or premium lifestyle sectors.
- In-depth understanding of European market variations and cultural differences.
- Successful track record delivering integrated multi-channel marketing programs.
- Experience collaborating with distributors and dealer networks.
- Strong capabilities in digital marketing including social media, customer relationship management, and content strategy.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project leadership skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically within the UK and internationally across Europe and globally as needed.
