Job description

Role Overview

This position is for a Marketing Manager based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The role is on-site at the Toronto Support Office and reports to the General Manager, Canada. The main purpose of the job is to work closely with Global Marketing to implement guidelines and proven practices, strengthen customer activation performance, and partner with Sales Market teams.

Key Focus Areas

  • Shape and grow the brand within the Sales Market by combining global direction with local market understanding.
  • Protect and strengthen the brand through a customer and marketing communications plan that follows global strategy while staying locally relevant.
  • Support long-term and short-term growth in customer base, sales, and brand visibility using an omni-channel, data-led approach.
  • Improve critical marketing and customer activation metrics, including loyalty, NPS, traffic, and conversion.
  • Manage marketing spending effectively and track results across media, PR and communications, content creation, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Guide, coach, and develop the marketing team to deliver strong collaboration and high-quality customer experiences.
  • Spot future talent, support succession planning, and oversee hiring for important marketing positions.
  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and cross-functional ways of working to boost efficiency and customer experience.
  • Work with Global Marketing to ensure global standards and best practices are adopted.
  • Coordinate with Sales Market teams to align on customer outcomes and business performance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline. They should bring strong analytical thinking, the ability to build strategies and action plans, leadership experience, stakeholder management capability, and effective communication skills. International exposure is important. Candidates should also have a successful history of delivering customer-focused outcomes across brand, communications, and media work, along with solid experience in omni-channel marketing.

Experience Required

This role calls for at least 8 to 10 years of leadership experience in marketing, sales, or customer-facing functions.

Compensation

The stated salary range is 139,630.
