Role Overview
This position is for a Marketing Intern focused on strategy and insights. The opportunity is suited to someone who enjoys combining creative thinking with data analysis and wants to understand how marketing contributes to business outcomes. The role involves working with teams across social media, PR, content, partnerships, and brand to uncover insights, monitor performance, review sales and campaign data, and support the team with informed marketing ideas.
The assignment is designed for candidates who are curious, proactive, and analytical, and who want practical exposure to how integrated marketing teams function.
Commitment
Preferred duration: 3 to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
Support the marketing team by reviewing campaign performance, studying trends, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to strategic planning and reporting.
Marketing Analytics and Reporting
- Examine performance data across social, digital, PR, and brand-led activities.
- Study sales and marketing figures to identify patterns, insights, and growth opportunities.
- Create straightforward reports, dashboards, presentations, and summary documents for internal use.
- Assist with evaluating completed campaigns and converting findings into recommendations.
Trend Research and Insights
- Monitor new developments in marketing, consumer behavior, creator culture, and digital channels.
- Study competitor activity, cultural movements, platform changes, and innovative brand campaigns.
- Share findings and suggestions with the team in a clear, concise, and visually engaging format.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams such as content, social media, PR, partnerships, and brand.
- Help manage timelines, deliverables, approvals, and communication across stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining campaign trackers, calendars, and internal records.
Strategic Support
- Contribute ideas for campaigns, brand activations, and broader marketing initiatives.
- Take part in brainstorming discussions and help shape ideas into practical action plans.
- Support the creation of presentations and internal marketing decks.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant has a background in Marketing, Media, Communications, Business, or Market Research. Strong analytical ability, presentation skills, and comfort with spreadsheets and presentation tools are important. A good understanding of social media and digital marketing platforms is also expected. The candidate should be organized, detail-focused, proactive, and able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Bonus Strengths
Extra value will be given to candidates who have handled social media analytics or campaign reporting, enjoy storytelling alongside data, can identify trends early, and can turn complex information into simple insights and presentations.
