Job description
About the Role
Sony Electronics is seeking a motivated marketing intern to help coordinate a busy period of product launches for the Home Entertainment marketing communications team. The position is centered on execution and operations for major releases such as BRAVIA televisions, home theater products, national roadshows, and retail activations.
This opportunity is designed for someone who wants practical exposure to how a large marketing organization supports campaigns across paid media, public relations, influencer programs, and retail touchpoints. The role is part-time and includes a flexible schedule that can work around academic commitments.
What You’ll Gain
You’ll build hands-on experience in launch coordination, asset management, and campaign execution while supporting a global consumer electronics brand. The position is intended to help keep multiple launch initiatives organized and moving forward during a high-volume period, allowing the wider team to focus on strategic work and execution quality.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will support launch operations, tracking, version management, campaign execution, influencer support, and event logistics. Work will involve coordinating across internal teams and agency partners, maintaining readiness of launch assets, and helping with roadshow and swag planning.
Schedule
This is a part-time role with a flexible schedule to accommodate school responsibilities.
Pay and Benefits
The anticipated hourly pay range is $19.80 to $28.60. Actual compensation may vary based on the applicant’s qualifications, relevant experience, unique skills, education level, certifications or licenses, and work location. In addition to pay and benefits, Sony Electronics offers an environment that supports Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, along with work-life balance initiatives such as a hybrid home/office workplace, monthly Free Fridays, and early Friday shutdowns throughout the year, including half-days during the summer.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. The role also calls for strong organization, careful attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving setting. Comfort using Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint, along with clear written communication, is important. An interest in consumer electronics or marketing operations would be an advantage.
Additional Requirements
Honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct are essential parts of this role.
