Job description
Job Summary
Nutricost is looking for a resourceful, detail-driven Marketing Graphic Designer to become part of its internal marketing team in Lindon, Utah. This position goes beyond creating attractive visuals; the focus is on developing design assets that help improve engagement, clicks, and conversions.
The right candidate will understand how visual communication affects customer behavior and will turn marketing plans into effective creative across digital and print channels, including emails, website content, paid advertising, and branded collateral.
What You Will Do
- Create performance-focused visuals for paid social campaigns on Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn, as well as display advertising on the Google Display Network, with a strong focus on direct-response design.
- Build polished, mobile-friendly email graphics and layouts for campaigns, newsletters, and automated email sequences.
- Design landing page components, website banners, product visuals, and promotional materials that improve the user experience and stay aligned with brand standards.
- Produce print and digital collateral such as pitch decks, event signage, sales sheets, and multi-page informational guides when needed.
- Partner with copywriters, marketing managers, and content strategists to develop ideas, interpret creative briefs, and shape visual concepts around campaign objectives.
- Evaluate design performance using metrics like click-through rates and conversions, then refine layouts through iteration and A/B testing to improve results.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 2 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in an in-house marketing environment or a creative agency.
- A strong portfolio showing marketing-focused work, including ads, emails, and web assets with clear visual hierarchy and effective call-to-action placement.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Working knowledge of Figma or Sketch for web and digital design is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of marketing concepts such as conversion rate optimization, brand positioning, visual hierarchy, and consumer psychology.
- Ability to juggle several projects at once, work well under deadlines, and keep files organized with close attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to explain the reasoning behind design choices to people outside the design team.
