Job description
About SmartOffice Technology
SmartOffice Technology, located in Little Island, Cork, develops accounts payable invoice automation software with a client base of 1,000 across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and South Africa. As new products are scheduled for release throughout the year, the company is seeking a dedicated individual to effectively promote these launches and manage its social presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage social media channels end-to-end, including planning, content creation, publishing, and performance tracking.
- Create diverse content and assets such as graphics, short videos, written posts, case studies, and campaign materials.
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools daily to enhance productivity and content quality.
- Coordinate marketing for product launches, including positioning, creating launch assets, and making announcements.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner gatherings.
- Analyze social media performance data to optimize strategies, discontinuing ineffective efforts.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate possesses one to two years of relevant experience either in-house, at an agency, or through personal audience-building initiatives. Strong writing skills and a good sense of visual aesthetics are essential. Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Midjourney as part of content production is expected. This role requires autonomy and self-motivation, delivering results aligned with brand goals.
Unsuitable Candidates
- Those seeking remote or hybrid work, as this role requires onsite presence in Little Island, five days a week.
- Strategists who prefer conceptual work without direct content creation.
- Individuals relying on AI for low-quality, bulk-produced output without discernment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary of €35,000.
- Full-time employment based onsite in Little Island, Cork.
- 21 days of annual leave.
- Entitlements to maternity, paternity, and parental leave.
- Employee recognition programs, social events, and team gatherings.
- Opportunity to work in a compact company where individual contributions significantly impact business outcomes.
Application Requirements
Interested candidates should submit applications including links to two or three examples of their work such as social media posts, videos, designs, or written pages. The focus is on the quality of work rather than the CV or formal interview process.
